Monday Memories

As a child I loved walking in the cotton fields back home, loved playing with all those cotton balls that had all those pokey things inside them and that hard shell  that surrounded the cotton ball like it just bloomed.

I always wondered how many cotton balls it took to make that cotton dress my grandma would make me and what happened to all those pokey things that was in the cotton, that answer never came.

Grandma would tell me she didn't know, but would say how wonderful and pretty cotton was. I still love the feel  of cotton and the pretty colors of cotton.

Baked Cod
place cod on sprayed pan, place cod on pan, sprinkle with lemon wedge juice, fish seasoning and some cut up bell pepper and onion slices add a very small amount of water to pan.
bake at 350* until flaky around 20-30min.
serve with coleslaw, baked french fries and hush puppies.

Chocolate Covered Cherries Cheese Cake
 1 box of no bake cheese cake with crust included
make it up according to directions 
1 box of chocolate covered cherries- you can use 1/2 box or the whole box.
Take the chocolate covered cherries, put in a bowl, break them up slightly, pour them on top of cheese cake.
chill until ready to serve
